Dental emergencies are one of the things that I open my arms to the most. It’s one of the things that got me into the field — getting rid of somebody’s pain or issue.
I take a lot of dental emergencies, and I’m open late hours for people who work but have a tooth issue or concern they want dealt with. I run my office with the hours I do to help people be able to come in when they need to.
I also have an on-call number where people can get ahold of me if they need to come in on a weekend because something hurts or they broke something.
Probably the largest contributor to my patient numbers is people who have come in for emergencies. It’s an ideal location, it’s easily accessible, and we can almost always get somebody in the same day.
